While I Wait

Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
Neither shall fruit be in the vines;
The labour of the olive shall fail,
And the fields shall yield no meat;
The flock shall be cut off from the fold,
And there shall be no herd in the stalls:
¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
¹⁹ The LORD God is my strength,
And he will make my feet like hinds’ feet,
And he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

While I Wait

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower,
And will watch to see what he will say unto me,
And what I shall answer when I am reproved.
² And the LORD answered me, and said,
Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
That he may run that readeth it.
³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
But at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
Though it tarry, wait for it;
Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:1-3

While I Wait

I did bring my prayer before the Lord.

I sought Him with crying and fasting.

I did Wait upon the Lord.

I watched to see what He would say.

How He would answer me.

For He had shown me visions and dreams.

I knew beautiful things were to come😊

And yet I understand…

That He has an Appointed Time.

And I will continue to wait.

I will tarry.

While I Wait

Though dark may be the night.

And hope thin

My faith sometimes waver.

Asking…

Why things get worse before they get better?

And why it is always darker before dawn?

Sometimes all I can see is the storm.

The land dry as the desert.

Where is my spiritual spring?

When will I see the buds of hope?

Where is the bountiful harvest I have been promised?

And yet…

While I Wait

I will Rejoice!

Again, I say!

I will Rejoice!

Prayer will be my lifeline!

Weeping will soak my bed.

Fasting will be my lifestyle.

I will bring out that Shield of Great Faith

A gift the Lord gave to me😉

Hope will endure when there is no Light.

The burning desire for more of Jesus!

The ache for the souls of men!

The burden for my loved ones to return to The Father.

While I Wait

I will believe!

Trust!

I will wear my Armor!

A woman of honor unto The King!

Riding into Battle!

A Kingdom Camel

Carrying the Burdens of The King!

I will not hide in the foxhole.

Nor run from the Battle.

But like young David

I will sling my stone in the Name of the Lord!

And take every giant down!

I will not fear the enemy!

I will believe my prayers are being answered!

While I Wait

For the Word of the Lord has spoken unto me!

And the vision from The King has been made clear.

I will not retreat.

I will trust in the Name of the Lord.

I will have confidence in His Appointed Time😊

While I Wait

What is the prayer you have been praying for?

You, too, have brought a request into the New Year.

And yet what is the Word of the Lord unto you?

He gives you a vision?

Do you struggle with His Appointed Time?

But While You Wait

Rejoice!

And again, I say

Rejoice!

Your prayers, weeping, and fasting

Is seen by The King

And it is heard in the night.

C’mon! My friends. Believe!

Your fig tree will blossom!

There will be fruit on your vine!

You will reap a Great Harvest!

Our prodigals will return😊

And our spiritual barns will be full!

Of the blessings of the Lord

Yet…

While I Wait

Rejoice!

Rejoice in the God that we serve!

He is our Strength!

He will make sure your feet.

We will walk in High Places!

While I Wait
