Move the Mission

Here is John the Baptist.

Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Matthew 3:8

Do we live a life of repentance?

Are we mindful of His Voice?

Can the Lord convict us in the moment?

Where is my fruit?

Am I broken? Submitted? Obedient?

What does consecration look like in my life?

Is the Almighty in Charge of me?

Move the Mission

Everyone who is in contact with me

Should have no doubt

As to Who my Father is.

Where I go

The Master goes with me.

The fruit of my words

Those of life and not death.

The fruit of my labor

Sacrificially unto Him.

The fruit of my prayers

Kingdom minded.

Please don’t get me wrong.

We all have a “something”.

A weakness we battle to overcome.

However.

We are to make the way straight

Unto Jesus

For ourselves and others.

But do we understand

All things are lawful

Yet all things are not expedient.

Let us live wholly unto The Lord.

Tender to His Call

To bring forth fruit unto repentance.

Therefore, fruits of the Gospel

Unto a dying world.

Move the Mission

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:

But he that cometh after me is mightier than I,

Whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Matthew 3:11

But ye shall receive power,

After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,

And in all Judaea, and in Samaria,

And unto the uttermost part of the earth

Acts 1:8

When we come to God

In true humility

With fruits of repentance

He will baptize us

Anew and a fresh

With the Holy Ghost and Fire!

So that we will

Move the Mission

Everywhere we go.

To everyone we are in contact with.

To the uttermost parts of our world😊

Let us look at John the Baptist.

A bit odd.

Locusts and honey.

Camel skin clothing.

Much of his ministry

Seems to have been in the desert.

From the womb

Was John called.

What is the Lord asking you to “eat”?

Eat the Word!

What is He asking you to wear?

Simple holiness unto God.

Where is He asking you to minister?

Your town, job, and family.

But He may also be asking you

To go where He sends you!

A place you have not gone before!

He must increase,

But I must decrease

John 3:30

In order to truly

Move the Mission

We MUST decrease

For He MUST increase!

Everyone of us must decrease.

Dying out to our flesh

Through prayer and fasting.

Living unto the Spirit

And not that of our carnality.

Paul said,

I die daily!

So must we!

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,

Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

And, lo, I am with you alway,

Even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Make His Paths Straight.

Live a life of repentance.

Decrease!

Let Jesus Increase!

Eat the Word.

Pray! Fast!

Seek His Face!

Bring forth fruits of your repentance.

Go where He sends you!

Near and far!

Even what might seem like

The uttermost parts of the world!

Go!

Prepare ye the way of the LORD,

Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

For the Lord desires

That their crooked shall be made straight,

And their rough places be made plain:

(Isaiah 40:3-4)

As we have been Commissioned!
