Our Mission

You are appointed!

I am appointed!

To The Almighty’s Mission.

We are appointed to fulfill!

To “make” disciples

We must BE disciples!

For in him we live,

And move, and have our being;

As certain also of your own poets have said,

For we are also his offspring

Acts 17:28

The Lord God Almighty

Is NOT One we visit

At the local church.

Nor is our prayer closet

A phone conversation

In which we can call and hang up

Anytime we wish!

YOU and I

Are to LIVE in Jesus!

We are to be His offspring.

His disciples.

Living. Moving. Being.

In Jesus Christ, alone.

Go! Teach!

Everywhere.

Everyone.

(I didn’t say “preach” 😉

Teach!

Live it out before all😊

Be it. Do it. Live it.

Our Mission

Lead by example.

BE. DO. Live.

While the math is taught.

As the boss leads the employee.

At the grocery store in exhaustion.

Counting the money.

Tending a patient.

Helping a grandchild.

YOU are first and foremost

Commanded of the Lord

To Go and Teach!!!

A living example.

One who IS the Mission.

One who Lives out the Mission.

Our Mission

We get up on Sunday morning.

Dress in ‘church’ clothes.

Put on a smile.

And simply “talk” the mission!

We walk out the door

Satisfied that we did our duty

But often we leave Jesus in the foyer.

THIS is Not about you or me!

THIS is All about Jesus!

AND His Mission!

I know thy works,

That thou art neither cold nor hot:

I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm,

And neither cold nor hot,

I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Because thou sayest, I am rich,

And increased with goods,

And have need of nothing;

And knowest not that thou art wretched,

And miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Revelation 3: 15-17

The Almighty hates when we are lukewarm.

We are to be HOT!

Not simply for ourselves.

But that we might b.u.r.n.

For Jesus

And His Mission

Everywhere we go!

We are too tired

Because we seek every other pleasure there is.

We are distracted by every wind that blows.

Trust me.

I have had my own ‘windy storms’ to deal with.

But at some point

Each of us MUST needs!

Embrace His Mission

Until it becomes

MY Mission

YOUR Mission

OUR Mission

And he said unto them,

This kind can come forth by nothing,

But by prayer and fasting

Mark 9:29

For us to have His Burden for souls

We must die out to our flesh

Through fasting.

To have His Heart for souls

We must spend time in prayer.

And the lord said unto the servant,

Go out into the highways and hedges,

And compel them to come in,

That my house may be filled

Luke 14:23

We are to compel them!

Now let me clarify.

Remember I said, no preaching.

LOVE on them.

SHARE the Goodness of God.

Have COMPASSION.

FEED the poor.

DRESS the naked.

You have two coats?

You are to give to him that has none😉

PRAY for the sick.

They don’t have to come to our church building

To get Jesus.

Go out into the highways and byways

And GIVE them Jesus.

Our Mission

Christians are all cozy and comfy

In going to church

But NOT being the Church.

HE will spue us out of His Mouth!

It will look and sound different

For each of us.

Our giftings, talents, personalities

Are all unique

And play a different role.

However.

Every one of us

Is Commanded

By the Almighty, Himself

To first GO!

And Teach!

Jesus to our world!

Living, being, and doing

His Church

Not in a safe building

But amongst the lost and dying world around us

 COMPELLING!!!

This is His Mission

That we are to Live out as

Our Mission
