Can you sense the strain?

Oh my!

The intensity builds within!

Almost like a spiritual frustration.

Perhaps you find yourself

Agitated

But at all the wrong people and situations.

I do not speak of physical difficulties.

Nor am I referring to sinful anger.

But your spirit feels like its clothes are too tight😉

Strain!

Sanctify Yourself

Struggle

After awhile

Your Strain

Becomes a struggle😊

There is a Jacob spirit upon you!

At first it is as though you are blindfolded.

You know something is there.

Not a demonic spirit as in spiritual warfare

But like Jacob

There is a tussle to be had.

Your will vs. His Will

Your fear vs. His Power and Love

Your small mindedness vs. Greater is He that is in you!

Religion vs. Relationship!

Struggle!

Sanctify Yourself

Stretch!

Really. It all comes down to two things.

Full Submission!

Total Obedience!

BEFORE

The Lord reveals

His Plan and Purpose.

We must allow

Strain… Struggle…

To S-T-R-E-T-C-H us

Out of our Comfort Zones.

Move us through our complacency.

Sanctify Yourself

Sanctify: to set apart as holy

For I am the LORD your God:

Ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy;

For I am holy: …

For I am the LORD…, to be your God:

Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

We understand that the Lord sanctifies His people.

However. As in everything else😉

He is looking to us to Partner with Him.

He has a part in our sanctification process.

But we are to make our God required steps.

So… Set yourself apart.

Be ye holy!

Strain—Struggle—Stretch

Is often a Call from the Lord

To come up a little Higher!

For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem,

Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Circumcise yourselves to the LORD,

And take away the foreskins of your heart,

Jeremiah 4:3-4 (excerpts)

Get out the Spade😉

Dig down deep.

Remove the thorns of this world.

Take out the Sharp Knife of His Word.

“Cut” into the heart.

Expose yourself to the Almighty.

Through prayer and fasting remove bitterness, pride, foolishness.

What hinders you from a greater Walk with the Lord?

Are you afraid of what is ahead?

Often, we fear Success.

Because It causes us to draw ourselves up

To our God Given Task.

Yes, of course.

We know to plant the Word in our hearts.

Certainly. We must water with the Spirit.

Fertilize with much prayer.

But the Strain—Struggle—Stretch

Sanctify Yourself

In which I am speaking of

Is much more than your “normal” …

Walk with God…

Regular prayer time…

The sketchy schedule of fasting…

Reading a few verses a day

And calling it all good😉

² “Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
and strengthen your stakes. Isaiah 54:2 (ESV)

That God given Strain…

Your “Jacob’s” Struggle…

Means YOU need to S-T-R-E-T-C-H !

God is Beckoning us.

Enlarge the place of your tent.

Honey, He is looking for us

To Take more Territories

Then ever before!

Both in the spirit realm

And in the natural place of The Church😊

 S-T-R-E-T-C-H

The Curtain of our Dwelling Place!

Don’t Hold Back Now!!!

Instead.

Lengthen your cords.

Dig Deeper that you may strengthen your stakes.

YOU and I Must needs

Sanctify Ourselves

Like never before.

Set yourself apart for His Holiness😊

Seek to know what He would have you subtract,

And in some cases

We are Called to add.

That’s right, my friend.

Less amusement, hobbies, clutter.

Adding more Space.

Making Room for the Almighty

To Work

To Speak

To Mold and Shape.

As Paul has said

All things are lawful

But all things are not expedient.

We run. Scatter-brained.

Every day full of the whatevers

Does not equal Kingdom Success.

A little quiet in your prayer time

Keeps Room for His Breath to Breathe into us.

Sitting in the quiet

Allows Room for His Voice with Clarity.

Being atmospheres changers everywhere we go!

Sanctify Yourself

If we continue to push away

The Holy Strain, Struggle, and Stretch

We will stay stuck.

Life will go along.

Yet the Call of God

Will Beckon again and again.

Complacency does not equal contentment.

Only more frustrations.

So, join me, reader.

Acknowledge the Strain.

Get your Jacob Struggle on!

S-T-R-E-T-C-H beyond your ‘normal’.

Then Joy and Contentment will be yours!

Our Tents will become Enlarged!

The Cords Lengthened.

Let us Strengthen our Stakes.
