Peace…
Joy…
Contentment…
The Absence
Peace is Not
The Absence
Of The horrific storm
You find yourself in.
Peace is in the knowing
That He can keep you
In the eye of the storm.
Joy is NOT
The Absence
Of calamity
Swirling through our lives.
Joy is understanding
He is in your boat!
Contentment is NOT
The Absence
Of the deepest valley
We have ever known.
Contentment is grateful
That He trusts us
With the solitude and difficulty.
Peace…
Joy…
Contentment…
Are they missing in our lives?
If so, can it be?…
The Absence
Of Alignment with The Almighty God.
The Absence
Of truly trusting
That God is Large
And He is in Charge.
The Absence
Of really letting go
And letting God!
In the storm…
With calamity…
Through the valley…
If we find ourselves reacting in the flesh
Instead of responding with the spirit
Then we are not in His Center.
We are to abide in Jesus
As He Abides in us!
“He will understand
If I take this into my own hands.”
No! He won’t. Leave it in His Hands!
“I have to manage this church service.”
No! That is to quench the Spirit!
“They need to handle it like I said.”
No! We all need to handle things as Jesus says.
Control is fear, not trust.
His Ways are far above our ways.
His Thoughts far above our thoughts.
Here is one for you😊
His Eternal Now is Divine Focused,
While our time is carnal planning.
Wanting someone to validate our advice,
Is not God Conscious, but self-conscious.
And sorry to say,
That, my friend, is pride.
The Absence
How often do we think?
“I would feel better if that person would just…”
“This situation would improve if only…”
“I need God to fix…”
And while those things may be true!
Especially when we need God to “fix” 😉
First and foremost!!!
I MUST surrender ALL!!!
I MUST crucify my flesh!
I MUST yield completely to the Ways of God!
We MUST sacrifice!
We MUST get in Divine Alignment!
We MUST submit to His Timing!
Forget what the other person is doing or not doing.
Don’t wait for the situation to turn around.
Embrace Relationship, not religion.
The Absence
Have you noticed how ‘worry’
Has translated into, “I care.” 😉
Do we recognize how often
We “know” best? 😉
Of course, my plan is good.
Are we sure we should “fix” everything/everyone?
“I would be what I am supposed to be
(do what I should do)
If God would…
If people would only…
If the chaos would stop!”
No! My friends!
What is really…
The Absence
Is my lack of faithfulness ☹
Her lack of Trust ☹
His lack of spiritual disciplines ☹
I am not exempt.
Lord, I don’t like this anxiety.
Child, let go!
Lord, I am afraid of the unknown.
Daughter, Trust Me!
Lord, I don’t like my reaction.
Vessel, Submit wholly unto Me!
The Absence
Peace…
Joy…
Contentment…
Comes in the Submitting unto the Lord.
Shines through when we Fully Trust.
And perhaps hardest of all 😉
When I let go and Let God!
You know what else shows up?
Power!
Authority!
Anointing!
Victory!
The Absence
Let us look inside.
Ask for Divine Help.
And yield wholly unto God!
And there will no longer be
The Absence😊
