To Me

To me

He’s become everything

He’s everything I need

The Beginning and the End

He’s life’s dearest Friend

To me

He’s become everything

To Me

Jesus

The Almighty One

The First and The Last

Written Word

Spoken Word

Jesus

To Me

Is He a ‘snack’ to taste?

Or your sustaining Bread of Life?

A drop of water?

Or Living Waters to quench your soul?

Oil that sits in a pretty vase?

Or Anointing Oil that runs down over the ‘beard’?

A cool breeze?

Or the Wind beneath your wings?

A Vacation Spot?

Or your Dwelling Place?

To Me

My Cleft of The Rock

My Shelter in the time of Storm

The Lover of my soul

To me He’s become MY Everything!

You read it over and again😉

When you talk with me

You will hear me say

WHO He is…

WHAT you see…

WHEN is He nearby…

WHERE we take Him…

HOW He is perceived…

Is all based on our Relationship.

To Me

I recently shared with

My home prayer group

I feel compelled by the Lord

To inspire maturity within the Body.

Namely through prayer.

You see

We can be nothing

Accomplish nothing

For Jesus

In His Kingdom

With His Purpose

Without PRAYER.

The more you mature in prayer

The more that every other ministry

Will Grow

And Flourish

To His Glory and Honor.

How can we be in His Will

If we don’t Know Him?

It doesn’t seem feasible

To do Kingdom Work

If we don’t Know The King.

What makes me think He is Lord

If lordship is a word I say

And not a way of my life?

Therefore let us get past

The elementary stage

In the teachings about the Christ,

Advancing on to maturity

And perfection

And spiritual completeness,

(doing this)

Without laying again

A foundation of repentance

From dead works and of faith

Toward God

Hebrews 6:1 AMP

But speaking the truth in love

(in all things–both our speech and our lives expressing His truth)

Let us grow up

In all things into Him

(following His example)

Who is the Head—Christ.

Ephesians 4:15 AMP

We are all meant to Grow Up!

Not stay on the milk

But be able to eat the Meat!

Please see Hebrews 5:12-15; I Corinthians 3:1-2.

To Me

We are to grow and mature.

In the Word

Our Walk with the Lord

Through our Kingdom Purpose.

Often these are accomplished

Through and with

A greater and deeper

Relationship with Jesus.

Prayer is the Key!

For Relationship.

Reading His Word prayerfully.

Walking every day prayerfully.

Fulfilling our Kingdom Purpose prayerfully.

To do these things

And do them well

We need to Know Jesus😉

Knowing Jesus

Is Time well spent

In His Presence.

In the prayer closet…

Through praise and worship…

Praying without ceasing throughout each day…

To Me

Let’s face it.

If Jesus had to pray

During His earthly ministry

How much more do we?

The man Christ Jesus

Prayed to overcome temptation.

He prayed before choosing his disciples.

When the crowds became much

Jesus prayed for wisdom and understanding.

No doubt

He gained Strength and Virtue

After healing the sick

And raising the dead

Through Fellowship in prayer with the Father.

How much more should we pray?

Before making decisions?

Choosing those we work with?

After we have ministered to others?

To Me

Prayer that is short on discipline…

Lacking in fervor…

Is the same today as last year…

Needs a shot of maturity😉

We need a little “meat” on the Table😊

The more we pray

The More we Know Him!

The Deeper our Relationship!

The More you can minister to someone in need.

According to

His Will and Way

And certainly, with His Anointing!

The More we pray!

The More He becomes our Everything!

The More He is OUR Everything…

He can become someone else’s

Everything!!!

Of all the writings you have shared, this one has to be my favorite. It has hit close to home. When I first started this group, I felt so uncomfortable coming out of a prayer life that lacked so much. At first it was scary, not knowing what would required of me, but the more I pushed until something happened, the more excited I became. Then we throw fasting in the mix! Oh how the spirit is willing and the flesh is weak. It was hard to do.. to break the routine of only fasting when everyone else is.. to incorporate fasting into my prayer life because I can’t live without it. My spiritual perceptions and abilities depends on it for depth and growth. I began to feel overwhelmed and began to feel like I am just not getting where I need to be, or want to be. But pushing through, and fighting the flesh, brings me back to focus. It is not about me. It is all about HIM. Maturity comes when we surrender our will to his. I feel I have matured.. but there is definitely a lot more room for continuous growth. To me.. He is my everything.. my hope .. and constant friend!
Thank you for sharing these with us!
I love your writing.. always provokes me to look a little deeper in ways to grow deeper in
    my walk with the Lord.
