Yes😉

You read it right!

And if you have been a reader for some time

The title will sound somewhat familiar😊

But this sooo resonates with me

Right Now! 😉

Do you wish to wrap yourself in a prayer mantle?

Is there a moment in church

When you get “lost” in His Presence?

Are you riding the socially awkward bus?

Can you understand yourself?

Let alone…

Someone else understand us😉

No, my friends.

I am not on a pity party.

Mental struggles can go with it all

But certainly, that is not the main deal.

We don’t feel more spiritual.

Nor are we better than others.

Often. We struggle with being weird😉

“You’re over-confident.”

When in actuality

We are endeavoring to NOT be ‘strange’😊

Ah. C’mon!

You are out there too.

I am not alone.

If you are a regular reader

You know that I often refer to

Men and women of the Bible.

How they had faults, failures, and weaknesses.

Much like we do.

Who through faith subdued kingdoms,

Wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword,

Out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight,

Turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Women received their dead raised to life again:

And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance;

That they might obtain a better resurrection:

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings,

Yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

They were stoned, they were sawn asunder,

Were tempted, were slain with the sword:

They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins;

Being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

(Of whom the world was not worthy:)

They wandered in deserts, and in mountains,

And in dens and caves of the earth

Hebrews 11:33-38

Each of their stories are meant to inspire and encourage.

God has great things in store.

Today😊

For you and me.

Behold, I will do a new thing;

Now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert

Isaiah 43:19

Thanksgiving is now in the rearview mirror of life.

Yet for we, apostolics, we know

Thanksgiving is all year long😊

Now. We are preparing gifts.

Decorating for Christmas.

Planning get-togethers.

Putting on plays and programs.

But as we finish up this year

Often the New Year

Springs upon us!

We jump into days of fasting and prayer.

“What does the Lord want for the coming year?”

Instead…

Let us recognize

That the Lord wants to do

A New Thing!

In each of us!

And maybe

Just maybe

It seems awkward!

All night prayer meetings.

Days set apart for prayer.

A Home Prayer Meeting.

Perhaps small group sessions.

Teaching a Bible study from your couch

For the very first time😊

Take a Leap of Faith!

Trust the One Who Leads you!

Get out of your Comfort Zone!

Offer yourself to the King!

Here I am, Lord! Send me!

Let the Lord take the awkward you

Alongside His Divine Alignment

And bring about…

BEAUTIFUL
