BOLD

Bold

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,

And perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished.

And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

But seeing the man who was healed standing beside them,

They had nothing to say in.

Acts 4:13-14 ESV

Bold

All out-spokenness, assurance, confidence

Frank utterance, confident in spirit and demeanor

…preaching boldly in the name of the Lord. Acts 9:28 ESV

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue… Acts 18:26 KJV

In the book of Acts

We find that the disciples

Were BOLD!

In Word and in Deed!

And by Whom did they learn this?

JESUS!

But, lo, he speaketh boldly… John 7:26

Yes. He is/was God!

He was FULL of The Spirit!

AS were the disciples in the book of Acts!

I have come to Challenge the readers today😊

While the disciples were empowered by The Spirit

I declare…

That this kind comes by consistent

Prayer and Fasting

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Matthew 17:21

Jesus cast out devils, healed the sick, and set the captive free😊

After much prayer and fasting!

The apostles cast out devils, healed the sick, and preached the Gospel.

In Jesus’ Name

With consistent prayer and fasting

Throughout their ministries.  

BOLD

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,

That we may obtain mercy,

And find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Our ability to come boldly

Before His Throne

Is empowered by

Consistent prayer and fasting!

All those who are timid, shy, or

Maybe simply wishy-washy☹

Pray and fast until heaven endues you

With powerful boldness from on High!

Sigh!

I hear some of my readers…

Kindness, gentleness, meekness

Yes. Yes. Yes.

But there is a heavenly boldness

Needed this day.

We are lazy and lukewarm.

We don’t like controversy

(Real or feared)

Peter and John went to jail.

Paul went through many difficulties.

Stephen was stoned.

You need more?

The three Hebrew boys.

Esther risking her life.

Moses before Pharoah.

Every single example

Born out of Boldness

Through lives dedicated to the Almighty!

BOLD

No one can ride this out on someone else’s coattails.

We are all going to have to get it for ourselves.

Many of us seek to encourage others.

But everyone must decide for themselves.

And then…

Consistently pray and fast!

Determined to function in Holy Boldness!

This is no different.

C’mon folks!

We need everyone to labor in the Kingdom.
